Phil Neville has pleaded innocence over his comments on Tomas Rosicky, insisting he was just joking that he would have 'two footed' the midfielder.
Neville had told Match of the Day 2, he would 'smash' the Czech international if he tried his outrageous skill on him during training.
He later backtracked after the show, saying via Twitter his comments were 'tongue in cheek', yet does the evidence above suggest otherwise?
We have looked through the archives on Neville's appearances against Arsenal in a Manchester United shirt, and he is clearly shown to be no angel.
