A round up of news this morning related to Liverpool.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has been quoted by the Daily Mail saying his side won’t be bullied in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

The Reds will head into the game as slight underdogs after a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Anfield.

Henderson is expecting a fiery game but says he and his teammates won’t be intimidated at Stamford Bridge.

Henderson has also told the Liverpool Daily Echo that there was nothing in the tunnel altercation between himself and Diego Costa during the first game.

Reports claimed that the pair squared up in the tunnel but the England midfielder has played down the incident and said it’s nothing serious.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has told the Daily Express that playing Daniel Sturridge in the game against Chelsea would be a risk.

Rodgers has confirmed that the forward wants to be involved between now and the end of the season.

However, he doesn’t want to take the risk of using him prematurely and threatening his long term recovery from a thigh problem.
