While development is yet to commence, the Borderland’s developer are looking for talent to help build the next title in the franchise.
Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford has been talking about plans for the next Borderlands game.
Speaking during a panel at PAX South over the weekend, he revealed that the studio is currently looking to expand its team to work on “the next Borderlands.” Before you erupt with excitement. Pitchford also let on that a potential Borderlands 3 hasn’t yet made it to the production stage, although the team are ready to get going.
“We want to think about the future and we want to think about what the next Borderlands is and we’re going to need some help,” said Pitchford during the panel “The fact is, we’re not working on a new Borderlands game, but we want to.
“There’s literally nothing to tell,” he added, “but we’re ready to start.”
Following this, Pitchford hit Twitter with a series of tweets to coax new talent to the project. one of which is below.

So, a new Borderlands game is coming, although by the look of the state of play at present we’ll probably be waiting for a couple of years yet.
