Tottenham Hotspur’s under-21 side have a great chance to get some revenge for the first team against Leicester City this lunchtime.
The senior side were beaten by the Foxes in the FA Cup last weekend and the youngsters have a chance to put more points in the board in the under-21 Premier League.
Spurs’ incentive is quite simple; win and the young side could be top of division one in just a couple of hours’ time.
Tottenham have been effective at both ends of the pitch with the same defensive record as Southampton above them and more goals than Liverpool further down the league table.
Leicester are second bottom of the table on goal difference and will be keen to get moving in the right direction.
Only West Ham are beneath them in the table as things stand and they will be inspired by the performance of the first team over the weekend.
Leicester have conceded more goals than Tottenham in the under-21 Premier League, but their attack isn’t too different with only one goal less.
