Cancelled Justice League game footage emerges

Justice League unreleased game footage screen 1

Watch Batman fight Superman in this previously-unseen game footage.

A fighting game that never saw release, and featured heroes from the DC Comics universe, has had some of its footage released online.

The game was reportedly due to be released on last-gen consoles, and to link into a cancelled Justice League movie. It was being developed by Double Helix, creators of Killer Instinct on the Xbox One.

Images of the cancelled game turned up about five years ago, but footage of the game has been unseen, until now.

Check out the footage below, it's a fight between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel. Although, Batman appears to be practising his surfing stance before the duel begins - but will prove effective?

Thanks, Kotaku.
