Fulham’s Ryan Tunnicliffe reacts to draw v Sunderland in FA Cup

Fulham held Sunderland to a goalless draw at the Stadium of Light in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Sunderland.

Championship outfit Fulham played out a goalless draw with the Black Cats away from home in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Sunderland headed into the tie as favourites, but the Cottagers gave a good account of themselves at the Stadium of Light to deservedly earn a replay.

Tunnicliffe, who featured for the entire 90 minutes, was disappointed not to have settled the tie in Sunderland, but he was still happy to have helped Fulham get a replay.

After the match, the 22-year-old former Manchester United prospect took to Twitter to post the following messages:

Fulham will now turn their attention to league action. Kit Symons’s side are currently 14th in the Championship table with 34 points from 27 matches, and will take on Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park next weekend.
