So after starring in game one, Wolves fans would have liked him to cool off a bit in the game against one of the pre-tournament favourites the Ivory Coast.
No such luck.
Sako was once again in top form for Mali, scoring the opening goal of the game inside the first ten minutes. He ran on to a deep cross at the far post before slamming home a classy half volley to give his country the lead against The Elephants.
Max Gradel later equalised with minutes remaining.
While Wolves fans will be pleased to see their top man in great form, they will also be wary of what could be growing interest in the services of the impressive wide man.
