The Turkish side are ready to sell in order to get hold of the Dutch international.
A new player has joined the chase for Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar. The Dutch international has been a hot product since starring at the World Cup in the summer and with his contract expiring in the summer there is little wonder why interest has peaked in the Dutch stalwart.
Turkish giants Galatasaray are now in the hunt for the 29-year-old, according to Turkish source Haber7.
The report claims that Gala midfield star Wesley Sniejder has alerted the bosses at the club to the situation of his international colleague and that Cimbom are looking into his availability with great interest.
The report even acknowledges the fact Gala have filled their foreign player quota, suggesting they will sell former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Blerim Dzemaili in order to snap up Vlaar this month.
Of course Vlaar has also been linked with plenty of other teams. Manchester United were recently linked with a £1.5 million move for the player this month in the Daily Star. However he picked up a knee injury earlier this month, ruling him out of action for six weeks. That led The Mirror to speculate that Vlaar would not be leaving Villa this month - but would wait until his contract expired at the end of the season.
