Yesterday proved another frustrating day in a Tottenham shirt for the out-of-form and out-of-favour Younes Kaboul.
It would, of course, be harsh to blame the Leicester City loss all on Kaboul, with a number of Tottenham stars once again falling short of the mark.
But it is telling that many supporters were almost predicting a loss on Twitter as soon as they saw the Frenchman's name in the starting line-up.
As well as his deflated response to Leicester's winning goal, the 29-year-old was also snapped exchanging words with Leicester forward Andrej Kramaric.
It appears, though, that anyone in an argument with Kaboul ends up having the last laugh these days.
Jan Vertonghen was pictured in heated debate with his Tottenham team-mate in the last round of the FA Cup and the White Hart Lane faithful promptly responded by showing their support to the Belgian, with chants of 'Super, Super Jan.'
If Kaboul doesn't end up leaving Spurs this January, meanwhile, it is unrealistic to truly see him work his way back into the first-team picture with the likes of Federico Fazio and Eric Dier proving far more capable than the Frenchman.
