Southampton will be looking to maintain their impressive start to the New Year with victory over Crystal Palace at St. Mary’s Stadium today.
Ronald Koeman’s side currently find themselves third in the league table, and they will be confident of a good cup run as well.
However, Southampton do not have a very good record against top-flight opposition in the FA Cup, having lost 16 of their last 23 FA Cup matches against Premier League opponents.
Visiting Palace have come into good form of late, and are gradually putting distance between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone.
The Eagles have won their last three matches in all competitions, all under new manager Alan Pardew, and are unbeaten in 2015.
It promises to be an exciting game at St. Mary’s Stadium today, and here is how Southampton and Palace will line up.
