Blackburn Rovers have registered a 3-1 victory over Swansea City in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Ewood Park.
Visiting Swansea got off to a bad start as Kyle Bartley was sent off after just seven minutes for a bad foul.
However, it was the Swans who took the lead on 21 minutes when Gylfi Sigurdsson shot home from outside the Blackburn penalty box.
It did not take long for Rovers to restore parity, though, as Chris Taylor fired home from close range after being teed up by Tom Cairney.
Joshua King and Craig Conway had chances for hosts Blackburn in the remaining minutes of the first half, while Tom Cairney, Taylor and Markus Olsson came close in the opening minutes of the second period.
Blackburn pressed on for their second goal as the second half progressed, and they eventually got it 12 minutes from time when Rudy Gestede found the target from close range.
Conway made it 3-1 to Gary Bowyer's side in the 89th minute when he shot in from outside the box after being released by Olsson.
Swansea ended the game with nine men after Sigurdsson was sent off in injury time.
