The German youngster has been out of action since March.
Arsenal have had several injury problems throughout the season and not just with regular first-team players. German talent Serge Gnabry had been making some excellent progress in the Arsenal ranks before suffering a knee injury in March.
Since picking up the problem in a Champions League tie with Bayern Munich he has not featured for the Arsenal first-team. However, he is now back in full first-team training. Gnabry is therefore being tipped for a potential return in the FA Cup this weekend. Arsenal take on Championship strugglers Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend and Arsene Wenger is likely to make the odd change to the starting XI that defeated Manchester City last weekend.
Gnabry has now given a hint that he is ready for action via his official Twitter account. He posted this message to his followers on the site on Saturday afternoon, making it clear he was back in top condition:
Arsene Wenger spoke about Gnabry earlier this week. He confirmed in his weekly press conference, as reported by The Mirror, that Gnabry was back in full training and available for selection.
After watching the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City being dumped out of the FA Cup against lower league opposition this weekend Wenger may want to be careful with how weak a team he fields. But Gnabry is clearly hoping to be involved in some way this weekend.
