Ritchie on Morison
Leeds United great Andy Ritchie has suggested that Steve Morison is the perfect option for the side's current system, because he has all the attributes to be utilised as a lone striker.
Morison has faced a lot of criticism during his time at Elland Road, but Ritchie thinks that he has shown signs of form lately and has backed him to be a success.
"Morison really needs a goal at the moment but only because it’s what his performances deserve," Ritchie wrote in the Yorkshire Evening Post.
"He’s playing well and he’s doing what he used to do all the time at Millwall – running the channels, producing the knockdowns, holding up possession. I also think he suits a 4-2-3-1 formation perfectly."
Keane: Gray a big factor
Manchester United youngster Will Keane says that Stuart Gray was a big factor in his decision to join Sheffield Wednesday.
The striker signed on loan for the Owls yesterday and he revealed that a conversation with Gray a few days ago was what made him believe that Hillsborough was the best place to develop at.
"I had a few options but I spoke to the manager and I knew straight away I wanted to come here," he said to the Sheffield Star. “He (Gray) was a big factor in my decision to come here."
Ultimatum on Brayford
Cardiff City have told John Brayford he has to make a decision on his future quickly, with Sheffield United making their sixth offer for the full-back in recent times.
According to the Sheffield Star, Blades' continued attempts to sign him could finally pay-off this month, but it will be up to the player to make the final decision on his future.
