Transfer Clock: Manchester United submit bid for Dragovic; Salah to depart for Roma

All the latest transfer rumours including Manchester United, Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion.

Manchester United are reeling from a 0-0 draw against Cambridge United in the FA Cup, so some transfer news should cheer them up.

According to The Express, they have made a move for Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

United have struggled in the centre-back position this season and have been linked with a host of names in the past six months.

But Austrian international Dragovic is now said to be at the top of the pile. The report claims that Manchester United have made a £15 million bid for the 23-year-old former FC Basel defender.

Goal Italy is reporting that Chelsea have agreed a deal to loan Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah to AS Roma.

The former Basel star only signed for Chelsea a year ago but he has struggled to find regular playing time in the Stamford Bridge dressing room.

The report claims that he will join the club on an 18-month loan deal. They will also be able to buy him at any point in his loan spell for a fee of €16 million and he will reportedly cost €500,000 to start the loan deal.

West Brom are said to be close to the signing of former Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi, according to The Guardian. The Nigerian left Gaziantepspor on a free transfer recently and the likes of Brown Ideye and Giorgios Samaras have struggled to socre the goals for West Brom.
