Ex-Liverpool striker backs Tottenham Hotspur to beat Leicester City this weekend.
Victims of their own success, Tottenham Hotspur find this FA Cup fourth round weekend sandwiched in between a two-legged Capital One Cup semi-final.
The trophy-chasing side would not have it any other way, but raising their game to the top level every single match is not always possible.
That was seen in midweek when they produced a lacklustre performance against League One side Sheffield United, failing to score from open play, needing a second half penalty to ensure they took a lead into the second leg.
He said in his BetVictor Predictions column, he commented: "Spurs were hardly impressive against Sheffield United in the Capital One Cup semi-final 1st leg midweek but I expect to see a more fluent performance against the Foxes whose sole objective must be maintaining their Premier League status."
His view was at odds with BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson, who tipped Tottenham Hotspur to draw with Leicester and lose the replay.
The midweek display was so disappointing, it's almost hard to foresee a less creative performance from Tottenham, given the talent in the side.
Much will depend on the team selection of head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who has Tuesday's cup second leg to bear in mind, and all eyes could be on controversial forward Emmanuel Adebayor to lift his game if he is handed a starting spot for a second game in succession.
