The developers are giving away free DLC as an apology for the delay.
Developers Techland have announced the new launch date for the physical release of their new zombie game, Dying Light, following the news that it's physical disc release would be delayed. Players can get their hands on the game from 27th February in Europe, and also Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
Dying Light's European and eastern release was delayed from it's initial launch date of 28th January - however the digital editions of the game are still set for that date in those regions.
The physical pre-order version of the game will now also come with two extra DLC packs, Cuisine & Cargo and Ultimate Survivor, totally free.
Techland has also announced that Dying Light's 'Be the Zombie' mode will be free "to everyone, on all platforms, in all territories." The mode was previously a pre-order bonus for the game.
The game's US release for both the digital and physical versions is still slated for 27th January.
