According to the Birmingham Mail, Bournemouth have had a £3m bid rejected for Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray.
The 18-year-old sensation has been superb for the Blues this season, scoring four goals and notching one assist in 21 Championship appearances.
The pacey winger has earned caps for England Under-18's and Under-19's, and his growing reputation has unsurprisingly attracted alleged interest.
Then, earlier this month, the Daily Mirror reported that both Liverpool and Tottenham saw Gray as an alternative to West Brom's Saido Berahino in case they couldn't land him.
Yet now, another team is in the mix - and it's a real surprise.
Birmingham's Championship rivals Bournemouth have now had a third bid rejected for Gray, with the latest believed to total £3m, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The Cherries sit top of the table and are now pushing towards the Premier League under manager Eddie Howe, and they may well see Gray as the man to give them that extra spark in the final third to help them get over the finish line and into the top flight.
Many expected Liverpool or Tottenham to bid for Gray this month, but now it's Bournemouth - and whilst Birmingham have told their league rivals that Gray is not for sale, they may be more willing to part with him to a Premier League side.
