Microsoft "really looking at" PC to Xbox One streaming

Could PCs stream to Xbox consoles in the future? Xbox boss Phil Spencer says they might.

Following on from the news that Microsoft's new Windows 10 operating system will allow for the streaming of Xbox One games to Windows 10 PCs and tablets, the company is also considering PC to Xbox One streaming too.

After the Windows event yesterday Xbox boss Phil Spencer had a group interview and talked about Microsoft's vision for the company's Xbox One to PC streaming, as well as a PC to Xbox One option.

"People ask about the streaming in the opposite direction--can I stream from my PC to my Xbox?--and I'll just say it's something that we're really looking at," said Spencer.

"If you think about that vision--my games are my games wherever I am, and I can play with whoever I want to play with--we want to be able to land solutions that are as native as the one we showed there. We just have to kind of work with the physics of time and work it through"
