A round up of news stories this morning related to Manchester United.

Reuters has revealed that Manchester United are second to Real Madrid in the money list for 2013/2014.

United have risen from their previous position of fourth with a revenue of €518 million.

The club is ahead of Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Daley Blind has been quoted by the Irish Independent responding to criticism from former Manchester United defender Gary Neville.

Neville recently suggested that the Dutchman looked for the easy option when he picked up possession in midfielder areas.

“If there is space forward then I will play that ball but sometimes I think it is better to keep possession, to switch from side to side,” said Blind.

Blind confirmed he would listen to Neville’s thoughts but also stressed the opinion of Louis van Gaal is more important.

The Daily Express claims Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Stromsgodset to sign Martin Odegaard.

The highly rated teenager was a target for Manchester United according to the paper but a statement confirmed they won’t be the club getting their hands on the Norwegian.
