Nigel Pearson has spent big on the Croatia international, with a multi-million deal seeing Kramaric choose Leicester over Chelsea – as reported by the BBC.
A hefty price tag means he will be expected to deliver an immediate return on the club’s investment, with the Foxes in need of a spark in their battle to avoid relegation out of the Premier League.
Drinkwater is convinced that the powerful frontman will come good, with Kramaric impressing on the training ground.
He also believes that the goals will soon start to flow for Leicester as a collective, with Pearson showing in the past that he knows how to find a cutting edge.
Drinkwater told the Leicester Mercury: "Kramaric is a great lad. He is trying to fit in straight away. He will show what he is made of very soon.
“There are goals in the team. The gaffer will make sure he brings goals to the club. That was one thing he was brilliant at last season and I am sure he will do it again."
Kramaric made his Leicester debut against Stoke City on Saturday, with Pearson opting to use him off the bench.
He will be expected to slip into the starting XI in the not too distant future, with the Foxes needing to offer more of a goal threat if they are to steer clear of trouble.
They have found the target just 20 times in 22 top-flight fixtures this season, with another big-money frontman in the form of Leonardo Ulloa their top scorer with seven.
