Chelsea morning round-up: Costa's tunnel bust-up, Kramaric on Blues snub

A round up of news stories this morning related to Chelsea.

The Daily Mail claims Chelsea striker Diego Costa and Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson had to be pulled apart after the League Cup semi-final earlier this week.

The pair reportedly squared up in the tunnel after the game and the Mail claims they pushed each other although no punches were thrown.

Striker Andrej Kramaric has told the Mirror he snubbed Chelsea to move to Leicester City.

He claims the chance to play more games at Leicester was more appealing for him than linking up with the Blues.

“Chelsea is the biggest team in the Premier League, but I chose Leicester because I feel something good here,” he said.

It will be interesting to see if he made the right decision based on the league positions of either side at the end of the season.

The Daily Express has reported that Chelsea have slipped to seventh in the league for football clubs creating revenue.

Manchester United lead the way according to the report, with Manchester City are sixth and Arsenal are just below Mourinho’s Chelsea in eighth place.
