The Battlefield community has been challenged to unlock the third beta mode over the next few days.
The upcoming Battlefield Hardline open beta announced by DICE a week ago was originally going to have two modes available to participants. However, in the most recent Battlelog update the devs have revealed a third mode could be added - Heist Mode.
The devs have laid out a mission for the Battlefield community, essentially. From today at 9am PST until 11:59pm PST on 24th January, players must collectively accumulate a total of 2 billion points in Battlefield 4's Rush mode.
When this challenge has been met the developers will make sure that Hardline's Heist mode will be added to the beta, whenever it kicks off.
The Battlelog also mentions that Battlefield 4 players will receive "weekly treats" every Wednesday from now until Hardline's launch on 17th March. Such treats include Gold Battlepacks, community missions, Hardline-themed dog tags and more.
