A round up of news stories this morning related to Manchester City.

ESPN claims Manchester City are confident of doing a deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus.

Reus is rated as one of the best players in Germany and has been tipped to leave BVB at some point this year.

They claim City will offer him a deal worth around £200,000 per week.

The Daily Express claims Manchester City owned Micah Richards is targeting a return to England.

The defender has been on loan at Fiorentina, but has struggled to gain regular playing time in Italy.

He will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Sergio Aguero has told the Manchester Evening News that his friendship with Lionel Messi is invalid when City meet Barcelona in the Champions League.

Aguero says the club’s next series of fixtures is a great chance for City to show what they’re capable of.

“I will be playing against my great friend Messi. But the second we step on the field, that friendliness disappears,” he said.
