Liverpool star Mario Balotelli enjoys League Cup clash...in a 'onesie'

Last night, Liverpool and Chelsea drew 1-1 at Anfield in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final.

Chelsea took the lead in the first half thanks to a Eden Hazard penalty before Raheem Sterling, who ran rings around the Blues defence all night, equalised just before the hour mark.

As is almost tradition with this fixture, the game offered several controversial moments and the result leaves the tie nicely poised ahead of next week's return leg at Stamford Bridge.

Semi-finals like these are the occasions footballers long to be involved in, so spare a thought for injured Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, who for second game in a row missed out on all the action due to illness.

During the match, 'Super' Mario posted this picture of himself watching the game onto his Instagram account.

So it was one for Liverpool, one for Chelsea and 'onesie' for Mario. While we were all enjoying the football, Top Corner noticed John Terry and Sterling enjoying a different game of their own...

Wonder who won that one!

We look forward to next week's second leg and maybe Balotelli will make it out of his 'onesie' and onto the pitch...
