Dundee United's Armstrong stance

Dundee United are not expecting to lose Stuart Armstrong to Celtic, according to the Evening Telegraph.

Armstrong has been heavily linked with the Bhoys throughout the transfer window so far, but the Terrors are reportedly demanding over £2 million for him and don't feel that Ronny Deila's side have those sort of funds available to them.

Brown wants Commons to stay

Scott Brown says that he would be 'gutted' to see Kris Commons leave Celtic during this transfer window.

The Scotsman has linked Commons to the likes of Leicester City and Bolton Wanderers in recent times, but Brown is hoping that his experienced teammate stays at Parkhead.

“He scores goals from nothing, so we’d be gutted to see him going but it’s up to him," he said to the Daily Record. "There’s nothing anyone else can do.

“He scored 30 goals last season and it is hard for anyone to score 30 goals in
this league. He’ll be a miss if he does go but fingers crossed he doesn’t [leave]."

Denayer doesn't want to lose Van Dijk

Celtic loanee Jason Denayer is hoping that Virgil van Dijk remains a part of the Bhoys squad, at least until the end of the season.

Van Dijk has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur by London24, but Denayer wants him to remain with the Scottish champions.

"From my own point of view and that of the team I hope that Virgil is here until the end of the season because he is a strong player," he told the Glasgow Evening Times. "He has been fantastic with me."
