A round up of news stories this morning related to Tottenham Hotspur.
Sheffield United star Jose Baxter has been quoted by the Daily Mail suggesting the Blades could take a physical approach to the League Cup semi-final against Tottenham.
Baxter suggests Spurs might not be up for the physical fight, which Sheffield United are more used to and believes that will work to his team’s advantage.
“The Premier League is an unbelievable league, probably the best in the world but then teams aren't used to getting barged about, people in the faces, kicking them and not helping them up when they get kicked. It works for us,” he said.
The London Evening Standard has detailed criticism of reported Tottenham target Kevin Mirallas.
The Belgian has come under fire after he prevented Everton’s usual penalty taker, Leighton Baines, from taking a spot kick during the game against West Brom.
The match between the two sides ended 0-0.
The Daily Mirror has reported that Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado is a target for German club Bayer Leverkusen.
Soldado has struggled at Spurs this season as he looks to find his best form at White Hart Lane.
The Mirror claims Soldado is suffering a crisis in terms of confidence in North London at the moment.
