Microsoft's Ori and the Blind Forest launches 11th March

Ori and the Blind Forest Prologue 31

Moon Studios and Microsoft's platformer heads to PC and Xbox One this spring.

The game most-likely to be awarded "side-scrolling platformer that made you sob uncontrollably in 2015" - Ori and the Blind Forest - now has a release date. The game is due to launch on PC and Xbox One on 11th March. The Xbox 360 version's release is still slated for some time this year.

The US versions of the game will both be priced at $19.99, although there is no word on pricing in the UK just yet.

The game is being made by Moon Studios, with Microsoft publishing, and it's been in development for about 4 years.

You don't believe me that this game will make you shed a tear? OK, just try watching this trailer for the game and tell me you didn't well up, even just a little.

Some new gameplay footage has been release too, which you can watch below.
