The agent of Leeds star Casper Sloth has refuted suggestions he wants to leave.
The agent of Casper Sloth has used Twitter to state the Danish star wants to stay at the club.
That desire was placed in doubt by an article in the Yorkshire Evening Post on Monday night which stated Sloth was one of three players suggested by owner Massimo Cellino who wanted to quit as a result of the owner being banned.
The other two named in the report were Tomasso Bianchi and Souleymane Doukara, with all three being summer signings.
Sloth's agent Marko Benes had been made aware of the reports and used social media to state that his client had no intention of leaving the club so soon.
Casper Sloth is a Leeds Player. He's ready to fight for Leeds and show the fans/club that they haven't seen the best of him yet #lufc— ivan marko benes (@markobenes) January 19, 2015
Sloth has not had instant success since joining the club from Danish side AGF Aarhus. He struggled initially and failed to seize a chance under Neil Redfearn, losing his place to Adryan.
He has come back into the team lately, but in a position out wide, although did not feature at the weekend against Birmingham City. He has made six Championship starts to date, with five as a substitute.
Suggestions he could look to leave, seemingly coming from the owner appear to have been unhelpful, and Sloth's position to deny them is just an interesting sub-plot amid a huge day of news regarding owner Massimo Cellino.
