We rate the Everton players from their 0-0 draw with West Bromwich Albion last night.
Joel Robles - 6
The Everton goalkeeper didn't have a save to make throughout the game due to West Bromwich Albion's defensive tactics. Was basically a spectator.
Seamus Coleman - 6
Plenty of exuberance from Coleman, but his final ball lacked the quality to break down a resolute Baggies backline.
Phil Jagielka - 6
Didn't do too much wrong, but was barely tested playing against an isolated striker in Victor Anichebe.
John Stones - 6
Spent most of his time trying to get Everton's attacks going. He occasionally gave the ball away cheaply, but his technical ability is clear to see.
Leighton Baines - 5
His set-piece delivery wasn't up to its normal standard and he should have been stronger over the penalty decision.
Kevin Mirallas - 3
Let his side down by seeking the glory. Baines is one of the best penalty takers in the league and it was crazy for the Belgian to decide he wanted that opportunity.
Muhamed Besic - 7
Probably Everton's brightest performer in what was a tough match. The reaction to him coming off from the Toffees' fans said it all.
Gareth Barry - 3
Sluggish, ponderous and wasteful, this was not one of Barry's finest matches in an Everton shirt.
Ross Barkley - 5
The pressure seems to be mounting on Barkley. As their most creative outlet, these are the sort of games he is expected to put his stamp on, but he was virtually ineffective last night.
Steven Naismith - 5
Never really offered anything to break the West Brom defence. His passing was not accurate enough to create chances for his teammates.
Romelu Lukaku - 5
Couldn't find an opportunity against the Baggies. He generally lost the aerial battle with their centre-backs and never really threatened to break the deadlock.
Bryan Oviedo - 6
Didn't change his side's fortunes after coming on at the break, but put in plenty of effort.
Arouna Kone - 5
Barely touched the ball after coming on for the final 10 minutes.
