Everton fans have become frustrated with Ross Barkley's lack of impact on games this season.
The England international midfielder was one of the most prominent figures as they put together a brilliant campaign last year, but this season he has struggled to sustain that form.
Barkley was expected to be one to the side's main creative influences, but his problems were all too evident last night as they took on West Bromwich Albion.

Although he was generally tidy in possession, Barkley did not manage to carve out any opportunities for the team and the pressure is steadily mounting on him.
There is an expectation of excellence when Barkley collects the ball at Goodison Park, so to see him playing to such little effect was a major disappointment.
It has been a consistent problem since he came back from injury earlier in the season and his form rather sums up what has been a hugely disheartening campaign for the Merseyside club so far.
Here is the best reaction from Everton fans to Barkley's performance last night on social media site Twitter.
Everton fans going to force the best young player they've had in over 10 years out the club if they're not careful. #Barkley— Harry Harper (@hazza_23) January 20, 2015
Treatment of Barkley was disgusting last night. 21 yr old evertonian, confidence in his boots & he gets that. Never thought I'd see the day.— Natalie Bargery (@nataliebargery) January 20, 2015
We need an Attacking Centre Mid Barkley isn't that he had 0 assists last year and 1 this year, we need a Coutinho/Eriksen to split a defence— Mike (@Mikejohnsonefc) January 20, 2015
Roberto says Ross Barkley took his responsibility well last night? When?was its during his numerous sideway passes? #nodrive— Joseph ward (@Joe_p_ward) January 20, 2015
Booing Barkley for getting caught in possession and misplaced passes is wrong, but when he won't tackle or close players down it's right.— bitterblue1878 (@bluesbrother81) January 20, 2015
Barkley needs to be benched and improve his confidence by cameos off the bench. He looks at absolute rock bottom and scared to try anything!— Lucy // #ForzaJules (@lucyefcf1) January 20, 2015
This won't be a popular opinion but Everton fans are risking hounding Ross Barkley out of the club with the treatment of him #backhimffs— David (@NothingbutBoffo) January 20, 2015
Have to say booing Barkley is ridiculous. How will that help. 21 year old expected to win games single handed? Culprits should be ashamed.— Graeme McVeigh (@GraemeMcV) January 20, 2015
