Chelsea morning round-up: Mourinho set for big call, Terry on success

A round up of news stories this morning related to Chelsea.

The Daily Telegraph has suggested that a returning Thibaut Courtois will replace Petr Cech against Liverpool this evening.

Cech has played, and done well, in the club’s last three games while Courtois has been out of action because of a broken thumb.

The Belgian picked up the problem during the heavy Premier League defeat at the hands of Tottenham.

Chelsea skipper John Terry is quoted by the Glasgow Evening Times suggesting the Blues can’t get carried away until they win something.

Chelsea are in a great position on all fronts as they prepare to take on Liverpool in the first leg of their League Cup semi-final.

“We've got top, top players but, as I've said before, until we go and win things, it's not there yet,” said Terry.

A report in the Metro has confirmed that Chelsea will not use artificial crowd noise to enhance the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have said they won’t use the measure, despite Jose Mourinho’s criticism of playing at home last year.
