Video: Spurs teenager Sonupe scores great goals in shooting practice

Two of Tottenham Hotspur's players took part in some shooting practice in first-team training while a young goalkeeper attempted to keep them out.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has given a number of young players a chance in the first-team this season, but could another be knocking at the door.

Emmanuel Sonupe is an 18-year-old right winger who took part in first-team training recently, showing £26million man Roberto Soldado how to score a beauty or two.

The two men were up against Tottenham’s young goalkeeper Luke McGee – another player who will be hoping for first-team recognition in the future, although the presence of Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm will make that anything but easy.

As the players got ready for first-team training, Sonupe and Soldado warmed the hands of McGee, with the youngster scoring some wonderful goals and McGee pulling off a couple of very fine saves, one drawing a smile from Soldado.

The Spaniard has failed to live up to his reputation since signing for Tottenham from Valencia, scoring 15 goals in 61 appearances to date.

As for Sonupe, he clearly has an eye for goal, but his journey to the first-team will not be easy.
