A look at the latest Premier League transfer reports...

Winston Reid

West Ham defender Winston Reid is keen on a move to Arsenal this month, report The Mirror. The New Zealand international's contract is expiring at the end of the season, and the Hammers have a last chance this transfer window to sell him on for a fee or lose him for nothing.

The Times reported earlier today that Tottenham Hotspur want to sign the defender, but on a free transfer at the end of the season. The fresh claims that Reid is hopeful a deal to join Arsenal can still be forced through is clearly a threat to Tottenham's chances to snap him up.

If West Ham are faced with a choice between seeing him join one London rival for nothing and another for a fee, Arsenal's interest may yet go on to prove tempting.

Saido Berahino

One player Tottenham are keen to elect not to move on this transfer window now appears to be West Brom's Saido Berahino.

The England under-21 international is valued at £20 million by the Baggies, and The Mail report this valuation is enough to deter Spurs from pushing ahead for a deal.

The paper add that both Tottenham and Liverpool were considering making offers in the £10-12 million range, but are unwilling to budge from that valuation and will revisit the possibility in the summer, hoping by then West Brom will lower their demands.
