De Visser has been a personal adviser for Blues owner Roman Abramovich for a number of years, and he has played a vital role in bringing a number of stars to the Premier League.
Despite his advancing age, he still works as a scout for Chelsea, and a recent interview with SoccerNews has highlighted a potential new arrival at Stamford Bridge.
“I follow him and that goes beyond a time watching a game,” the 80-year-old said.
Attacking midfielder Sinkgraven is a 19-year-old currently turning out in the Eredivisie, who has drawn a lot of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs in the past. The same article from which De Visser’s quotes appear mentions a long-standing interest from Dutch champions Ajax, whilst Louis van Gaal reportedly wanted to bring him to Old Trafford in his opening weeks as Manchester United head coach, as per the Mirror.
Having made his debut for Heerenveen last season, Sinkgraven has since played 36 times for the club who sit perfectly mid-table this term. He has scored three goals and registered six assists in those games, a respectable tally for an attacking player as young as he is, and his form at club level saw him win his first Under-21 call up for the Netherlands earlier this campaign; he has made three appearances in all for Jong Oranje.
