Celtic media round-up: Bhoys will receive bid from Bolton Wanderers for Commons

We bring you the latest news from across the web about Celtic.

Celtic expecting Bolton bid

Bolton Wanderers will make an offer to Celtic for Kris Commons by the end of the January transfer window, according to a report in the Daily Record

The Bhoys are apparently keen on keeping Commons until the end of the season, but a big bid from the Championship side could persuade them to part ways with the experienced attacking midfielder.

Matthews on win

Adam Matthews says that Celtic put in one of their finest performances of the season to beat Hamilton 2-0 this weekend.

The Bhoys cruised to success against the Accies, with Matthews amongst the scorers, and he was clearly pleased with the team's display.

"The first 60 minutes was one of the best we have played all season, especially in the first half, when we caused them a lot of problems and could have scored a lot of goals," Matthews told the Glasgow Evening Times

Denayer on future

Celtic's on-loan star Jason Denayer would not be drawn on whether or not he would commit to a second season at Parkhead today.

Ronny Deila has already made public his ambitions to keep Denayer until the end of next season in quotes in the Daily Mail, but the Manchester City man is simply concentrating on the present for the time being.

"I need to wait until the end of the season and see what happens," Denayer told the Daily Mail.

"There are a lot of things in my head at the moment and I just need to concentrate on playing games."
