Valdes, Rojo and more: United players react on Twitter to 2-0 win

Manchester United defeated Queens Park Rangers on Saturday but what did some of their players think of the performance?

Manchester United took on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Saturday and goals from Marouane Fellaini and James Wilson secured the victory for Louis van Gaal’s side.

It was a much-needed win after United had slipped to a home defeat against Southampton last time out, and this match was a slog at times, with a QPR side in the midst of a relegation battle impressing against a team pushing for a top-four finish.

United still have a long way to go before they can be considered back to their best, with van Gaal’s insistence on persevering with a formation that causes issues at the back and sees attacking players featuring out of position raising more questions than it answers.

But United can at least take pride in a job well done and another three points safely in the bag.

After the match some of their stars took to social media to express their feelings, including Argentine international Marcos Rojo who wrote, “Happy to play again and even more to get the three points in a very difficult game.”

Goal-scorer Fellaini also expressed his delight, posting a picture of himself celebrating with countryman Adnan Januzaj after his opening goal.
