A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur…
The Frenchman has made 17 appearances for Tottenham this season, but he has rarely featured in recent weeks with some of Spurs’ many other midfielders picked ahead of him.
Now the Italian publication claims Parma are interested in taking the 26-year-old to Serie A on loan, although it remains to be seen if Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will sanction such a move.
In other news, ESPN report that according to sources Tottenham have opened talks with striker Harry Kane regarding a new deal.
The young forward has been in sparkling for this season, scoring 18 goals in 28 appearances, and now ESPN claims his club is already prepared to offer him improved terms on a deal that runs until the summer of 2019.
Given Kane’s progress and reputation, this would be no surprise, although signing a quality forward to play alongside him could prove a trickier prospect.
