Manchester United put their 1-0 defeat to Southampton behind them by overcoming Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Louis van Gaal’s side won 2-0 courtesy of goals from second-half substitutes Marouane Fellaini and James Wilson.
Fellaini is becoming something of a vital component to this United side, netting his third goal of the season, while Wilson finally got off the mark this campaign having failed to score since a brace on his senior debut against Hull City under the interim management of Ryan Giggs.
QPR can reflect on a fine performance, as they managed to not only keep United at bay for much of the game but also carve out some good chances of their own that on another day could have seen them take the lead.
As it is, Harry Redknapp’s side could not pick up any vital points and remain ensconced in a relegation battle.
