Nottingham Forest returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 comeback victory over Derby County away from home in the Championship.

Forest went into the East Midlands derby at the iPro Stadium on a run of four successive defeats in all competitions and were expected by many football followers to lose.

Stuart Pearce’s side did indeed fall behind in the 16th minute when Henri Lansbury headed Johnny Russell’s corner into his own net.

However, Forest launched a brilliant comeback in the second half and scored twice in the final 15 minutes or so to win the match 2-1.

Britt Assombalonga restored parity in the 75th minute, and Ben Osborn found the winner deep into injury time.

The win has revitalised Forest’s chances of securing a playoff spot in the Championship and has pushed them up to 12th in the league table.

Following the victory, Forest fans took to social networking site Twitter to have their say on the team’s performance.
