Derby County’s four-game winning run came to an end on Saturday when they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Championship.

The Rams were expected by many football followers to win the East Midlands derby at the iPro Stadium and headed into the match as favourites.

Steve McClaren’s side did indeed take the lead against Forest in the 16th minute when Henri Lansbury headed Johnny Russell’s corner into his own net.

However, Forest launched a stirring comeback in the second half and scored two goals to win the match 2-1.

Britt Assombalonga restored parity in the 75th minute, and Ben Osborn found the winner deep into injury time.
