Celtic players react to 2-0 win over Hamilton; featuring Johansen and more

Celtic defeated Hamilton Academical on Saturday but what did some of their players think of the performance?

Celtic notched up another win on Saturday, this time defeating Hamilton Academical 2-0 away at New Douglas Park.

Goals from Adam Matthews and Liam Henderson gave Celtic the win, and after Aberdeen's 3-3 draw with Dundee, Celtic sit just two points off top spot with two games in hand on the Dons.

Three points was just what Ronny Deila needed after their a break in the Gran Canaria, and Celtic will be looking to build up some momentum, with Wednesday's game against Motherwell becoming increasingly important.

After defeating Hamilton with some ease, players took to Twitter to celebrate, with defender Jason Denayer, midfielder Stefan Johansen and striker Leigh Griffiths all airing their thoughts on the game.

Denayer remarked on his return to the side after a layoff through injury, whilst Johansen posted a picture of himself with team mate John Guidetti.

Meanwhile, Griffiths was delighted to start the game having mostly been a reserve throughout the season, whilst he also congratulated Matthews for his stunning opener and teenage midfielder Henderson for his goal too.

Here is what Celtic players had to say about the game on Twitter...
