The trio of strikers are in top form for Bristol City, Ipswich Town and Crewe Alexandra respectively.
Leeds United are now winless in eight games after a second 1-1 draw on the bounce against Birmingham City at Elland Road.
Once again, it was another game where the Leeds strikers failed to find the back of the net.
It was a late volley from Luke Murphy that did the job for Leeds yesterday, meaning no Leeds striker has scored since Billy Sharp netted a penalty against Nottingham Forest on the 20th December.
The last time a striker scored from open play for Leeds was when Mirco Antenucci struck a consolation goal against Ipswich Town on the 6th December.
Meanwhile, three strikers that Leeds let go have been in superb form.
Matt Smith left to join Fulham in the summer. He has since been loaned out to League One high flyers Bristol City. Nicky Ajose was signed by Leeds in the summer. He has barely featured and joined Crewe Alexandra on loan in November. Noel Hunt was released from his contract after a loan spell at Ipswich Town, who he subsequently joined on a permanent deal.
It is with Hunt we start. Yesterday he scored an impressive brace as Ipswich defeated Millwall 3-1. It was his third goal for Ipswich in six games.
Smith didn't score yesterday, but has been in great form since joining Bristol City on loan. He has scored nine goals in 11 appearances for the club since joining them at the end of November.
Ajose has also been among the goals. He has netted four goals in seven games since he joined the League One outfit.
That is a combined total of 16 goals in 24 appearances for their current clubs. All strikers Leeds have allowed to depart.
