Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini took to Twitter in the build-up to his side’s vital Premier League encounter against Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
United lost vital ground in the title race – and slipped to fourth in the table – following their 1-0 defeat to Southampton last weekend. And having gone on a six-match winning run prior to Christmas some faltering form over the festive period saw them slip at the vital time.
The £27.5million signing from Everton has been out of the side recently but he returned as a late substitute against the Saints.
Prior to that spell on the side-lines the United midfielder had played every minute of that winning streak and it is interesting that his absence saw the club slip – something that would have been unfathomable last season when he was ridiculed by sections of the Old Trafford faithful.
Now it is up to United to get back to winning ways, starting this afternoon…
