Transfer clock: Tottenham in talks over Konoplyanka, Pardew eyes swoop on Newcastle

Transfer news from Tottenham, Hull, Crystal Palace, West Brom and West Ham United.

Tottenham open talks for Konoplyanka

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham have opened talks with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk over a deal to sign their Ukrainian winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.

The 25-year-old was an alleged target for Spurs almost a year ago, but the Daily Mail suggest that negotiations have restarted as the wide man's contract enters its final six months.

With that in mind, it's believed that Dnipro would accept a £7m bid for Konoplyanka, which would be well within Tottenham's budget.

Hull interested in Lennon

With Tottenham's interest in Konoplyanka, it seems virtually assured that Aaron Lennon will be leaving the club in a change on the right flank.

According to the Daily Mirror, Hull City have eyed up a £6m move to sign Lennon, but are also chasing Chelsea' Mohamed Salah as Steve Bruce looks to haul the Tigers away from the danger zone.

Pardew eyes Cisse reunion?

Crystal Palace may have beaten Burnley 3-2 on Saturday thanks to two goals from Dwight Gayle, but that doesn't seem to be stopping Alan Pardew from targeting a striker.

According to the Daily Mirror, Pardew is looking to raid his former club Newcastle for the Magpies' Senegalese striker Papiss Cisse - even after signing Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo on loan.

West Brom eye deal for West Ham winger

Moving on to West Brom, Tony Pulis is reportedly looking to add a winger to his squad this month, and has earmarked West Ham's Matt Jarvis as the man to come in and provide some width.

The former England international has been a bit-part figure for the Hammers this season, and the Daily Mirror suggest that Jarvis will be allowed to leave for the right price, with West Brom leading the way.
