Queens Park Rangers welcome Manchester United to Loftus Road this afternoon with Harry Redknapp’s side eager to put last weekend’s defeat to Burnley behind them and United smarting from their loss to Southampton.
This match could have considerable ramifications for both with QPR stuck in a relegation scrap and United seeing their chances of an unlikely title challenge faltering over the festive period.
United are seeking their seventh successive win against QPR in all competitions and the fact that Redknapp’s side has never beaten United in the Premier League does not bode well.
That said, QPR striker Charlie Austin may be relishing coming up against a United defence that continues to look suspect, as Southampton proved last weekend.
But do not expect United to go another 90 minutes without recording a single shot on target.
