Liverpool have today confirmed on their official website that Suso has left the club for AC Milan.
The 21-year-old Spanish winger joined the Reds from Cadiz CF and went on to make 21 appearances for the Merseyside club.
In that time he scored one goal and provided one assist but despite his sparkling reputation he has now left Anfield for good.
The player’s Liverpool contract expired in the summer and rumours had persisted for some time that he was on his way to Italy. But now it has been confirmed that he has completed a permanent deal and it will be interesting to see what happens next in a very promising career that has recently been blighted by injury.
Suso has five caps for Spain’s under-21 side and previously shone for the Reds’ under-21 side, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists at that level.
Having recently recovered from a groin injury – for which he underwent surgery – he will now start the next chapter of his career away from a league that never really saw him given a sustained chance.
