Celtic fans react on Twitter to Jason Denayer's performance against Hamilton

Celtic fans were full of praise for Jason Denayer's performance against Hamilton Academical.

Celtic comfortably swept aside Hamilton Academical this afternoon, with Ronny Deila's men cutting the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership to just one point.

Aberdeen will now be twitchy at the top of the table after Celtic's win, with the Bhoys demonstrating their title credentials with an easy win.

Right back Adam Matthews put Celtic in front with an emphatic finish from edge of the box, with the Welshman smashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner.

Youngster Liam Henderson made it two in the second half with a neat shot on the turn, giving Celtic a perfect return after almost two weeks without a game.

There were a number of impressive performances from Celtic players today, but fans on Twitter were full of praise for centre back Jason Denayer.

The Belgian, 19, is on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, and made his return to the side having missed a number of games through injury.

However, he made his comeback to the side today, and was arguably the man of the match as Celtic fans not only suggested that he should always play ahead of Efe Ambrose, but also hoped that City would let him spend next season on loan in Glasgow too.
