Sunderland's newest arrival Jermain Defoe has been snapped during his first training session with the club today.
Defoe's transfer officially went through this afternoon, with the club announcing the deal on their website, and he will be hoping that his teammates will have already got to grips with his playing style after he trained with them this morning.
The 32-year-old is set to go straight into the Black Cats' squad for their match against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow and the pressure will be on him to get the goals to fire them to safety.
The Black Cats have struggled desperately for a cutting edge this season, but Defoe's dead-eye finishing should add a lot to their game.
At the moment Steven Fletcher is their top scoring striker with four goals, while Connor Wickham has three and Defoe will be hoping to catch them both by the end of the campaign.
He certainly appeared very happy to have returned to the Premier League, after a year's absence, as he was put through his paces alongside Wes Brown earlier today.
Defoe will wear the number 26 shirt at the Stadium of Light.
