We round up all the news on the web about Celtic.
Deila on Commons
Ronny Deila has ruled out Kris Commons leaving Celtic this month, as interest in the attacking midfielder's services rises.
Commons has struggled for regular starts under Deila, but the Norwegian boss is adamant that he does not want to sell him during this transfer window.
"We’ve had nothing from no-one and our process with Kris is going on," Deila told the Daily Mail. "But he is going to stay until the end of the season.
"It’s longer term we have to think about with Kris because we are going to have him until the summer."
Deila wants wins
Ronny Deila says that his Celtic team are hungry for victories, as they prepare to get their season back underway after the winter break.
The Bhoys are sitting in second in the league, as things stand, and they are determined to stop having to look up to Aberdeen by closing the four-point gap as soon as possible.
"We are hungry to play now," Deila said to the Scottish Evening Times. "We know what we want.
"The games are coming up, we are determined and we are really looking forward to it. We have something to prove in every game."
Van Dijk pleased with links
Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk says he is pleased with reports that have linked him with Arsenal in recent times.
The Daily Mail reports that the Gunners are prepared to buy van Dijk during the coming month to bolster their defensive options and the Dutchman is happy to be linked with a club of such stature.
“I have been thinking a lot about my career recently," he said to the Scotsman. "I am now 23 and have played at Willem II, FC Groningen and Celtic, and now I am linked to clubs like Arsenal. Isn’t that great?"
