Unhappy Derby fans react on Twitter to Liverpool recalling Jordon Ibe

Jordon Ibe

A number of Derby fans feel the recall could have been better timed, also questioning whether the move really makes sense.

The news that Liverpool have recalled Derby County loanee Jordon Ibe has not gone down well with the majority of supporters.

Granted, there have - as ever - been some mixed responses, with many feeling Ibe was far from the best forward player the Rams possessed. But enough Derby fans have expressed their frustration that Liverpool have cut short what was proving a productive loan spell.

Ibe did well in a Derby shirt, of that there is no doubt. There may be debates about the degree to which he impressed with the Rams but not the fact that he certainly looks a promising player.
